I agree a captain shouldnt just know the game they should know how to deal with there team mates and get along. I personally think there should be co-captains, so not all of the pressure is on just one person., For my softball team in high school we had several captains. All of us knew what had to be done and we all helped each other out. and tht is what a team does

I agree that being a captain is very hard. I was a captain for my field hockey team. It is very hard to get everyone into the game when your losing the game and hope. My coach used to switch off the captains. Sometimes there would be two for a game. I used to like that. Which is kind of like the idea of co-captains. No one ever wants to do anything like that alone. Except maybe for power hungry people I guess.

i agree with your descriptions of what a captain should be. for my track team, my coach would assign 4 captains, based on the event (jumping, sprinting, distance, and throwing), and seniority. i got to be the distance captain, and although i wasnt a top scorer as a distance runner, i was there to support my team and encourage during races. so i guess what im saying is that the captain doesnt have to be the best, just supportive of the team. =]

I actually did have a bad experience one time at the restaurnat Bugaboo Creek Steak House. Typically, when the salads and food are ordered, you get the salads first then the food. Well, almost everytime we go to Bugaboo, the food comes when we’ve only taken two bites of the salad. My family and I find that really annoying and we have to speak up everytime. We hope that one day they will get it right.

I think having bad service is sometimes unavoidable! It is so frustrating to because all u want to do is go out and eat a nice meal with ur family or friends. I always thought it was a rule that if u were unsatisfied with ur service/meal that they did take a percentage off.

Restaurants make me nervous cause you do not know the people that make your food. I would never want to be a waitress either because some people who are very hungry get very crabby. I would not be able to deal with crabby people for a long period of time. Also I think it is very bad business of them cleaning a dusty table while their customers are eating.

I always thought it would be funny to work at Friendlys and be mean to people. I know I wouldn’t make much in tips, but you can see how that can be funny. Sorry to hear about this experience. Eating just seems like one of those things that shouldn’t be a stressful experience.

Ive had bad service at a lot of places and most of the time i dont mind if the waitress is rude or stuff like that because i just wont leave a tip. the thing that bothers me the most is when the service is slow. I mind my own business about everything but that is one thing i cannot stand.

i do thinks getting the chinese involved in baseball/softball is a good thing. There are so many chinese people in the world today that they are bound to keep up with the tradtion. So many people think baseball and softball are boring sports. They obviously havent played a true baseball/softball game.
